In advance of Semuel Lala's solo exhibition at Plymouth Rock in Zurich next month, we are pleased to present his new sculptural installation, Shadow MOM, Monuments I, III (After Sveta Mordovskaya) (2021), this week in Vienna as part of Haus Wien. Lala's work speaks to layering and transformation both physically and culturally and in his works referencing artistic peers and ancestors he suggests lived communities within the abstract.
