David Moser: New Action

April 12 - May 25

Opening Thursday, April 11   18 - 20h

No language is really ever fully developed, always inefficient and changing. Standardized, mass produced and malleable like perforated steel. An architecture suggesting transparency. In David Moser’s rejection of decided narratives he turns to the codings of communication and the improbabilities of place. Objects that convey in code, withholding their use through the conservation of their power. Fully charged for visual and conceptual enjoyment. Silent, yet ready to play. If translation is possible it becomes personal for the viewer. There are holes in the story, but not of lies, rather a cultivation of the unknown within the other. Holes within holes protected by holes of another material. Hardcore production ready for interaction. Hardcore punctuation ready for interpretation. Both impossible and desired. Suggestions of future knowing and being. It’s a game of failed attempts at meaning in an arena of material inviting interaction while abstracting and flirting with the possibilities of the body.
